The middle of the summer is here, which means high school football isn't far behind.
Teams can begin practice for the 2024 Arkansas high school football season on Aug. 5, with first games scheduled for Labor Day weekend, Aug. 29-31. The regular season goes into early November, with the playoffs scheduled to begin Nov. 15.
The state championships are set for Dec. 5-7 at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.
In Oklahoma, practice begins Aug. 12, with games also set to start on Labor Day weekend. The playoffs also start on Nov. 15, with the state championships over two weekends, Dec. 5-7 and Dec. 12-14.
