Xu-Fu's Pet News: Your Week in Pet Battles for 6 August (2024)

Here's everything going on for you and your pets for this week in WoW!

1. Legion Timewalking!

Though there are no pets on the Timewalking vendor or ones that drop directly from the dungeons, there are multiple pets you can obtain from increasing your reputation with the Legion factions:Court Scribe

2. Squirt in the NA Garrison on 10 August

Squirt the Wandering Trainer will be in the NA Garrison on 10 August. Our strategies for this leveling event can be found here.

3. Brightblade's Bones is up!

Until mid-week reset, the Brightblade's Bones World Quest is up, during which you can collect the Bugbiter Tortoise! All the information on how you can collect this pet is found on the Bugbiter's page.

4. Claws for Concern for Blueloo!

This WQ will be up from Tuesday, 13 August, until ThursdayWhile the Claws for Concern World Quest is up, you will be able to work on the Friends in Feathers achievement for the pet Blueloo! Normally, you can only rescue 6 Moonkin Hatchlings at a time, so you can either do the WQ across three characters, or you can also join a raid group and rescue all 18 Moonkin Hatchlings in one go on one character!Remember! You won't see the WQ on your map unless you are IN the zone.

5. Answer the Call of the Radiant Echoes

Confront the memories of Azeroth during the new pre-expansion event and collect Residual Memories to purchase new items to add to your Warband collection.
When: July 30 – August 26
Where: Dalaran (hub), Dragonblight, Dustwallow Marsh, and Searing Gorge
Currency: Residual Memories – Half forgotten memories can be glimpsed in the light playing across this iridescent powder.
Levels: 10-70

Players will be able to collect 3 pets from Remembrancer Amuul in Dalaran!

Be aware! The journal and Wowhead have this pets showing as costing 25 Residual Memories each, however on the vendors they are 10,000 each.

6. WoW Remix: Pandaria

Relive epic adventures with an all-new event in the 10.2.7 content update— WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria. Experience the wonders of Pandaria anew, but with fresh new loot— and (almost) unlimited power.

7. Upgrade TWW to Rare Edition to Reunite Squally's Siblings!

Players who upgrade to the Epic Editon of The War Within can summon Squally from their Collection and tackle the "Gryphons of a Feather" quest. Track down Squally's three siblings, Flash, Gale, and Thundo, within the Dragon Isles to add them to your bevy of battle pets.

8. 50% Shop Pets Sale

Save up to 50% until August 15 at 10:00 a.m. PDT when you shop the colorful collection of World of Warcraft pets in the Battle.net shop or the in-game shop. Throw an adorable pet party by inviting one or all of 17 World of Warcraft pets in the Battle.net® Shop or in-game shop to your collection.

11. Seasonal Pet: Qiraji Guardling

Summer in the Northern Hemisphere also marks when the seasonal pet, Qiraji Guardling, becomes available. This pet can be found in Silithus, near The Scarab Wall and The Scarab Dais in the southwest.

Don't forget: you need this pet to complete the Kalimdor Safari achievement.

It will be available this year until 22 September
