Position Role Type:Onsite

Cement Prep responsibilities include making and delivering cement to the build operations as well as canning/labeling sold cement sub-assemblies. Other duties include proper storage of hazardous waste created on site. The cement preparation role is responsible for the production of quality adhesives and solvents in a timely manner. A candidate for this position should be a people person who works well with a team and collaborate with people from other departments as well as working independently.

What you will do:

• Mix the required cements for the days production needs of product
• Monitor the distribution of the correct mixtures throughout the departments
• Responsible for cement and other hazardous waste materials collection from waste bins and receptacles
• Properly dispose of collected hazardous waste into larger collection receptacles and communicating with staff of hazardous waste concerns
• Responsible for creating cement and solvent samples to Quality area for inspection
• Complete all documents completely and accurately in the computerized tracking system
• Drive plant performance through safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics
• Keep work area clean and organized to facilitate process flow improvements
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives
• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications we require:

• A minimum education requirement of High School Diploma or GED is required
• Have experience reading blueprints and specification sheets
• Perform work in a safe manner and completes all required safety trainings
• Must have the ability to work any shifts and overtime including weekends
